Before you enter this
high-stakes game, you need to
know who the players are and whose
side they are on.
ABOUT THE
LISTING AGENT/LISTING COMPANY:
…is UNDER CONTRACT
TO WORK IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE
SELLER. Unless that's YOU, it is
in YOUR BEST INTEREST to work
through a Buyers' Agent rather
than to call the Listing Company
(the company whose name is on the
listing and the sign). Listing
Company Agents are trained to
extract information from you to use
for the Sellers. According to
Michigan Law, any agent in the
Listing Company has obligations to
the Seller, not you, unless you are
specifically working with one of
them as your Buyer Agent.
